Most of our voices speak 29 languages, and our widest-range voices speak 74 — everything in the 29 plus 45 more, including Hebrew, Persian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Thai, Bengali, Swahili, Welsh and Irish. A smaller set of voices covers 9 languages (Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish), and a few are English-only. Every voice in the dropdown is tagged with its language count, so you can check before you generate. Always write numbers in letters (except in English).
